Grant Degginger is Chair of the Firm’s Government Law Team. His practice combines three decades of solving complex contract, construction and environmental disputes with his experience in federal, state and local governments to produce successful results for clients.   

Grant tailors strategy and tactics to deliver winning results in whatever the chosen forum—city hall, the courthouse or the state house. He guided the City of Bellevue for over 12 years as a member of the City Council, spending four of those years serving as Mayor of Bellevue.

Grant regularly assists clients in preparing construction contracts, obtaining development permits, negotiating public-private partnerships and resolving disputes with public agencies.  He has handled high profile and complex matters involving construction projects, environmental damage and public agencies. Grant frequently utilizes his decades of experience working in federal, state and local government to assist public and private sector clients with government contracting and permitting, municipal governance issues, land use disputes and disputes involving public records. 

He has represented clients in complex matters involving:
