Magdalena Bragun has joined Lane Powell as Counsel to the Firm on the Privacy & Data Security and Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy Teams.
Bragun represents clients on a wide variety of data security, creditors’ rights, and corporate matters. She brings extensive litigation and transactional experience to her practice.
Bragun's expertise in data security law allows her to counsel clients on complex privacy law issues and information governance compliance, including data protection risks, transfer of data, and composition of technology agreements. Her knowledge of the ever-changing distinctions in privacy and data protection laws in the U.S. and around the world helps her provide clients with practical solutions that meet their needs.
Bragun's privacy practice is firmly anchored in corporate law, enabling her to guide clients regarding their obligations under IT service agreements, data processing agreements, vendor contracts, and international business cooperation agreements. Bragun has also advised clients regarding assumption and assignment obligations, non-disclosure agreements, and other contract matters tied to bankruptcy court litigation proceedings.
Bragun received her J.D. summa cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, and her B.S. in European Studies from the School of Banking in Poznan.
