Kenny Haglund and Brian DeFoe co-presented “M&A: Overview of the Sale Process” at a Lane Powell-hosted CLE on Thursday, March 21. The session provided an overview of the M&A deal process — from setting up the deal team to post-closing — with a discussion about preparation steps, initial deal documents, due diligence, tax issues, consents and approvals, documenting the transaction, closing checklists and post-closing issues. The presentation is part of a two-year training program designed for up-and-coming attorneys.
