Jeff Brecht will present at the Bureau of Labor & Industries (BOLI)’s 34th Annual Employment Law Conference, November 1, 2018 from 12:45 – 2:15 p.m. Brecht’s presentation, “Privacy & Data Security in the Workplace: Issues and Best Practices for Employers,” will address cyber threats commonly faced by employers and offer practical advice on how to assess, address, and mitigate ever-evolving workplace privacy and data security risks. His session will also help employers develop employee-based privacy data security and implementation, and best practices on employee trainings to help prevent, detect and respond to possible data breaches.
BOLI’s two-day conference will take place November 1-2 at the Oregon Convention Center.
