2018 LeadingAge Oregon Annual Conference

LeadingAge Oregon | Redmond, Oregon

Jeff Duncan Brecht, Joe Greenman and Gabi Sanchez will serve as presenters at LeadingAge Oregon’s 2018 Annual Conference, taking place at Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond, Oregon, on May 20 to 23.

Greenman and Sanchez will co-present “Incident Investigations: Don't Let The Regulatory Detectives Conduct Your Incident Investigations” on Monday, May 21 from 1-2:15 p.m. The presentation will provide best practices for writing and implementing an internal investigations policy; best practices for conducting internal investigations, including tips for managing witness interviews; and best practices and application of the scientific method to analyze data and incidents.

Brecht will present “Privacy & Data Security for Senior Living/Long Term Care Employers: Workplace Cyber-Threats” on Monday, May 21 from 2:30-3:45 p.m. The presentation will bring senior living/long term care employers up-to-date on privacy and data security risks in their workplaces; provide an overview of laws that impact how employers respond to workplace privacy and data security issues; and provide practical steps and best practices that employers should undertake to help prevent and respond to workplace privacy and data security breaches.
