Lane Powell is pleased to announce it has been named as one of the “Top 100 Firms for Female Attorneys” by Law360, based on the Firm’s female representation at the partner and nonpartner levels and its total number of female attorneys.
“The number and percentage of women equity and income shareholders, and the ever-increasing critical mass of all women attorneys throughout our Firm, reflect the significant progress we have made in achieving our goals for the recruitment, retention and advancement of women and other traditionally under-represented groups in the legal world,” said Lane Powell President Charles W. Riley, Jr.
Gail Mautner, Co-chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee, stated, “We appreciate Law360’s acknowledgment, and will continue to strive to represent a wide range of backgrounds, identities and experiences within our Firm.”
Law360, a leading publication covering law firms and legal developments, conducted a survey of 308 U.S. firms based on the following criteria: 1) the percentage of partners, both equity and nonequity, who are women; 2) the percentage of nonpartners who are women; 3) the split between the firm’s female partner percentage and female nonpartner percentage; and 4) the number of female attorneys at the firm as of December 31, 2014. Only U.S.-based attorneys were included in their survey.
