Lane Powell and Attorneys Davis, Mehrbani, Jagla and Swanson Listed in 2017 World Trademark Review 1000

Awards & Honors

The 2017 World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR) recognized Lane Powell as one of the top trademark law firms in Oregon and Washington, and Lane Powell Shareholders Kenneth R. Davis, Frances M. Jagla, Parna A. Mehrbani and Paul D. Swanson as among the world’s leading individuals in the practice.

WTR commended Lane Powell, stating that the Firm is a “magnet for rights holders with critical assets to protect” with an “incredibly diverse branding ensemble with abundant know-how on all aspects of trademark law.”

According to WTR, Davis, who is Chair of the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group, “tackles multi-faceted branding disputes with consummate poise,” and that Jagla is “a superb trademark attorney with a wealth of experience and a great work ethic.” WTR also noted that “responsible and personable” Mehrbani “staunchly defends the interests of rights holders in the courtroom,” while Swanson is “an excellent trademark litigator” and a “go-to for trademark disputes.”

The directory is the definitive guide for locating the best trademark legal services worldwide. Individual practitioners, law firms and trademark attorney practices qualify for inclusion in the WTR 1000 based on an extensive research process — for the 2017 edition, research was conducted over a four-month period by a team of full-time analysts and involved nearly 1,500 face-to-face and telephone interviews with trademark specialists across the globe.
