Lane Powell Shareholder Carter Mann was quoted in The Oregonian’s August 26 issue in an article titled “Gold Dealer is Indicted.” The article is about the indictment of Larry Heim, a Portland gold and silver coin seller who allegedly schemed to steal $1.7 million from investors in seven states.

The 1.7 million amount ‘seems low based on what I have heard from other victims and allegations in the four civil lawsuits,’ said Carter Mann an attorney with Lane Powell in Portland. Mann’s client, the estate of Portland high-tech pioneer Tom Holce, won a $200,000 judgment in Washington County.
