It has been another busy year with many changes to laws affecting employers and you should know about them. You will receive an update on the law and practical tools for responding to these changes. Some of the topics that will be covered include: how to handle reasonable accommodations, including for pregnancy; tips on revising your policies to avoid scrutiny from the NLRB; evaluating independent contractor designations under the new DOL guidance; and how to make sure you are complying with Seattle’s new “wage theft” ordinance.
