Man v. Machine: Benefits and Perils of Automated E-Discovery (Washington, D.C.)
Lane Powell Shareholder Darin Sands will present at the American Bar Association’s 62nd Annual Antitrust Law Spring Meeting on March 26 in Washington, D.C. Sands will be a participant on a panel entitled “Man v. Machine: Benefits and Perils of Automated E-Discovery” that will explore the use of predictive coding and other tools to drive down the cost of discovery in complex litigation. The panel will take the form of a mock meet and confer. Other panelists/participants will include Judge David Waxse (D. Kansas), Dan Regard (Managing Director of iDiscovery Solutions) and Tracy Greer (Senior Litigation Counsel-Electronic Discovery, U.S. Department of Justice).
