SEMINAR — New Developments in Employment Law Affecting Employers Now (Seattle)
Please join us on December 4 for one of our Lawyers for Employers® breakfast seminar series on new legislative changes, the NLRB’s recent activities and the EEOC’s current focus. This session will cover what employers should be doing in response to the legalization of same-sex marriage and recreational marijuana use, as well as how to effectively respond to guidance from the NLRB and the EEOC. We will review best practices for modifying your company’s policies to conform to these new developments in a broad range of areas, including changing benefit plans, drug testing policies, social media policies, and training managers and employees to spot and effectively deal with issues related to domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault. Those attending the seminar will receive tools to help in reviewing your company’s policies for compliance.
