As a Law Clerk with the Office of the Attorney General’s Labor and Industries Division (L&I), Peggy gained experience relating to the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act, workers’ compensation laws, and wage and hour laws. During her time at the New York State Department of Labor and the Governor’s Office, she advocated for labor and employment law related policies, such as Paid Family Leave and minimum wage increases. Peggy also coordinated with businesses, elected officials, and community stakeholders to effectuate sustainable economic development projects that fostered job creation.
