Lane Powell denounces all forms of racism, hate, xenophobia and discrimination. With the disturbing rise in antisemitic attacks across the U.S., we join the growing chorus of voices calling for action to denounce and end these acts of violence. To that end, Lane Powell has joined numerous other law firms in signing on to this statement issued by Paul, Weiss condemning antisemitism.
Taking the form of assault, harassment, vandalism and other acts of hate, the Anti-Defamation League reports that there have been more than 2,200 antisemitic incidents since the beginning of 2020. That figure is deeply alarming, made even more so because many incidents go unreported. As with all forms of discrimination, anti-Jewish hate has a history that reaches far beyond the current moment. The alarming increase in attacks against Jewish people in the past two years compels us to speak out collectively to denounce antisemitism in all its forms.
Lane Powell stands with our Jewish friends, colleagues, clients and communities everywhere, firmly in support of their right to live peacefully and without fear of hate-based attacks. We remain committed to fight discrimination, ensure equal protection under law, and secure access to justice for all.
