Neil Evans was interviewed and featured in a September 26 KATU Evening News segment on “Understanding Kavanaugh Allegations, Public Hearing With Accuser.” The article discusses the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh and what steps the FBI would take to investigate these allegations.
The FBI is going to want to know if the accuser, the witness, has told other people of this incident previously," Evans said, "which is an indication that they are not making it up now."
Evans says investigators would likely talk with the accuser's family or friends, or people who may have attended the party where the alleged conduct occurred.
Evans says if the FBI opened an investigation, it would probably take two to four weeks, which he says is fairly quick.
