Joe Greenman will co-present “The RUG That Doesn’t Really Tie the Room Together: CMS’s Major Changes to the SNF Prospective Payment System” at the American Health Lawyers Association’s (AHLA) Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues on Thursday, March 22 at 8:15 a.m. The presentation will cover the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ changes to the skilled nursing facility (SNF) prospective payment system, which remains the leading source of Medicare reimbursement for SNF residents. SNF providers and the attorneys representing them will need to understand any changes to this system to model future revenues and ensure compliant reimbursement claims. The institute will take place March 21-23 at the Baltimore Marriot Waterfront Hotel in Maryland.
