The National Center for State Courts (NCSC) has selected Bob Maloney to serve as Co-Chair of their National Membership Committee. The NCSC is comprised of the Chief Justices of each of the 50 state Supreme Courts, general counsel from major companies and generally two attorneys from each state. Its mission is to improve the administration of justice and maintain the independence of state courts throughout the country. Maloney also continues to serve on the NCSC Lawyers' Executive Committee.
The NCSC serves as a national think tank to anticipate new developments, identify best practices, promote experimentation, establish performance standards and measures, evaluate program performance and foster adaptation to change. They provide a national forum for discussion of issues affecting the administration of justice and create a national leadership agenda for improving administration of justice. Additionally, the NCSC serves as a national voice for the needs and interests of the state courts while promoting collaboration among national court associations and related national organizations. They strengthen the rule of law and administration of justice throughout the world and serve as a model organization.
