Lane Powell Shareholder Bob Maloney will co-chair long-time Firm client Volunteers of America Oregon’s annual major fundraiser, “The DePreist Award Dinner,” on May 8, 2015, at the Chiles Center at the University of Portland, which will honor Fr. William Beauchamp, immediate past President of the University of Portland. This year’s event also includes an afternoon symposium on diversity. Stedman Graham, author, educator and partner of Oprah Winfrey, will be the featured speaker. James Thomas, National Head of Diversity for Nordstrom, will join Graham and community leaders on a roundtable moderated by DJ Wilson, General Manager of KGW TV, which will focus on best practices for diversity.
