Lane Powell is proud to support Social Venture Partners (SVP) and its Fast Pitch social impact innovation competition. On October 6, SVP announced the 14 finalists who are vying for more than $300,000 in grants and prizes. The finalists are busy perfecting their five-minute pitches for their outstanding social-change ideas, which they’ll present at the Final Showdown at McCaw Hall on October 25. They will pitch to up to 1,000 philanthropists, impact investors, colleagues, friends and family. The finalists’ ideas range from updating the old rummage sale model, to bringing homeless community donations into the sharing economy, to making an impact on our environment from beyond the grave.
