John K. Hussa v. Lee H. BlackwellWe represented John Hussa in an action to declare void an amendment to a family trust agreement on the grounds of undue influence. The Hussa Family Survivor’s Trust was created for the benefit of the two children, John K. Hussa and Lee H. Blackwell, of the marriage. On behalf of John K. Hussa, we filed suit against his sister, Lee H. Blackwell, contending that she unfairly influenced the parties’ then-deceased mother and widow to disinherit her only son, John. A confidential settlement agreement was executed by Lee H. Blackwell, and a dismissal notice was filed with the court on September 17, 2013. |
