Hamoui Case Argued Before 9th Circuit on March 29, 2004

(Currently awaiting decision by U.S. Court of Appeals for 9th Circuit)

Mike King, Diane Butler, and Doug Smith are assisting as pro bono counsel in a case regarding the possible deportation of a Syrian family, the Hamouis. Safouh Hamoui, a former top military pilot in Syria, and his family face torture and possibly death if they are forced to return to Syria. The Hamoui case was heard by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday, March 29, 2004. For more information on the case, click here.
