Paul Swanson is Co-chair of the Law Seminars International’s two-day Seattle Food Law Conference, which focuses on regulatory compliance, potential legal issues and business development strategies for food-related businesses. The conference emphasizes both intellectual property and startup aspects of the food and beverage industry, making it the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.   • At 8:30 a.m. Swanson will present “Framing the Issues: Interplay Between FDA Regulations and the Market Issues Facing Participants in the Industry.”
  • At 3:45 p.m. Frank Paganelli will co-present “Startups: Financing and Exit Strategies for Food-Related Companies.”

Friday, July 28

  • At 8:30 a.m. Parna Mehrbani will co-present “Building Brands and Protecting Products: Recent Developments in Trademark, Patent and Trade Secret Law for Food-Related Businesses.”
