Mike Silvey is immediate past Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate and Land Use Practice Groups, where he focuses his practice on representing developers, investors and businesses in all aspects of commercial real estate, including purchase transactions, loans for acquisition, development and refinancing, construction agreements, leasing and land use approvals. Chambers USA’s Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business listed Mike as a “Leading Lawyer,” saying, “He has considerable knowledge in residential real estate transactions, development agreements and rezoning proceedings.” He has also been described by clients as “highly intelligent, creative and thorough,” and “very good at getting transactions to the finish line.” Mike was also named Portland’s 2016 “Lawyer of the Year” for his work in Real Estate by Best Lawyers®.
