Bookmark and Share

Lane Powell Shareholder Brewster H. Jamieson has been named an Alaskan Super Lawyer in the September 2007 issue of Alaskan Super Lawyers magazine, published by Law & Politics magazine. He was chosen in the areas of General Litigation, Energy and Natural Resources, and Transportation/Maritime.

Only 5 percent of Alaskan attorneys are given this honor. The selection procedure includes peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review process and independent research on candidates. Law & Politics performs the polling, research and selection of Super Lawyers in a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

In addition to his Super Lawyers honor, Jamieson was named in the prestigious rankings guide Chambers USA in 2006 and 2007 for his litigation practice. Every year, the research team at Chambers carries out thousands of in-depth interviews with clients and attorneys in order to assess the reputations and expertise of business lawyers in 175 countries across the world. The qualities on which rankings are based include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities valued by the client.

Jamieson is admitted to practice in Alaska and Washington, and he represents a diverse clientele in both state and federal courts.
