Swanson Appointed Vice-Chair of ABA IPL Section Committee

Lane Powell Shareholder Paul Swanson has been appointed Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Intellectual Property Law Section’s Division VI Insurance and Risk Management Committee.  This committee studies insurance coverage availability for intellectual property lawsuits and their use to secure litigation expense reimbursement and insureer-funded settlements of potentially covered lawsuits.  This appointment is attributable in part to Swanson’s articles posted on the Firm’s “Patent Practice Professional Liability Reporter” website.
