Hsu Joins Lane Powell

William C.P. Hsu joins Lane Powell as an associate in the Tax Practice Group. Hsu comes to Lane Powell from Monahan & Biagi P.L.L.C. in Seattle, where his practice concentrated on providing global tax planning and strategic design of business structures for multi-national clients, including formation, operation, reorganization and liquidation of corporate and pass-though entities; intellectual property income planning and global structuring of manufacturing, distribution and financial arrangements; as well as domestic and international tax planning for individuals and closely held businesses. He also focused his practice on transactions related to People’s Republic of China and business consulting, including business modeling and market entry strategies for U.S. clients.

Other previous work experience includes providing domestic and international tax consulting services with Deloitte Tax LLP in San Francisco and Seattle, and working as a research assistant for Professor Charles Gustafson at Georgetown University Law Center.

Hsu received his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. from Western Washington University.
