Smith Appointed to Labor and Employment Committee

Doug Smith was recently appointed to the Department of Labor and Industries Employment Law Advisory Committee (“ELAC”). ELAC is a formal agency committee that advises the Department of Labor and Industries “(“L&I”) on employment law issues and policy, and assists L&I by reviewing proposed legislation and rulemaking. The committee has eight appointed members — four persons who represent the employer community, and four persons who represent the employee/labor community.
