White Joins Lane Powell’s Construction Litigation Team

Janis G. White has joined Lane Powell in its Seattle office as Counsel to the Firm in the Construction Litigation practice group. White comes to Lane Powell from Graham and Dunn in Seattle, Wash. Prior to that, she was Vice President and Senior Associate Counsel at The Chase Manhattan Bank and also worked as an associate at two law firms in New York — Christy and Viener, and Gordon Hurwitz Butowsky Weitzen Shalov and Wein.

White’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and includes banking, products liability, securities, contracts, copyright and trademark infringement, unfair competition and general commercial cases. She has practiced in federal and state courts, and also conducted bench and jury trials.

White received her J.D. from Boston University and her B.A. from Oberlin College in Ohio.
