Bodine Joins Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group
Brian Bodine has joined Lane Powell as a Shareholder in the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, Bodine was managing partner of the Seattle office of Merchant and Gould, P.C. Bodine focuses his practice on patent, trademark and trade secret litigation. He is a registered patent attorney and has served as a court-appointed expert to address issues relating to claim interpretation, infringement and validity. Bodine is also a qualified Rule 39.1 mediator for intellectual property disputes in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He also clerked for the Honorable Carolyn R. Dimmick, Chief Justice of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He served as President of the Washington State Patent Law Association and as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State Bar Association.
Bodine earned his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound, and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University.
