Areas of Practice
Elijah Forde’s experience includes working as an Assistant Attorney General in the Washington State Attorney General Office, where he represented the Department of Labor and Industries in worker’s compensation and building trades disputes at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, the Office of Administrative Hearings and in Superior Court. He also worked as a law clerk for the District of Columbia Public Defender’s Service, representing incarcerated youth in disciplinary hearings. He is a member of several organizations, including the Governor’s Affirmative Action Policy Committee, Attorneys Assisting Citizen Soldiers and Families, and as Vice President of the Loren Miller Bar Association, where he coordinates the Association’s involvement in legal and political matters affecting the African American community.
