Gittinger Retires from Nordstrom Board

Firm shareholder Wayne Gittinger has retired from the board of directors of Nordstrom, Inc. after 34 years of service. Also retiring was fellow board member William Ruckelshaus. Gittinger and Ruckelshaus will be replaced by Blake Nordstrom and Robert Miller. Bruce Nordstrom spoke at the annual Nordstrom shareholders’ meeting and recognized Gittinger’s significant contributions to making Nordstrom the retail force that it is today. Gittinger continues his work at Lane Powell, where he has practiced law for the past 45 years.
