DeFors Joins Lane Powell’s Litigation Practice Group

Timothy DeFors has joined Lane Powell as an attorney in the Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Lane Powell, DeFors gained extensive experience with the U.S. Navy, and worked at the Defense Intelligence Agency based in Washington, D.C.  His experience also includes working as a research assistant for the Rural Development Institute where he researched and wrote legal memoranda regarding property rights for the rural poor, including land tenure security, land reform and land administration.  He also represented clients seeking unemployment benefits in administrative hearings through a University of Washington School of Law clinic.

DeFors earned his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
