Williams to Speak about Innovative Public-Private Partnerships (Portland)

Lane Powell Shareholder Karen Williams, a nationally recognized attorney in tax credits and financing, will be a panelist at the The Portland Business Journal’s “Partners In Development Breakfast,” from 7:15 to 9 a.m. October 8, 2009, at the Governor Hotel in Portland. The other panelists are:

• Bruce Warner, Executive Director of the PDC
• John Pedersen, Sr. Vice President of CBRE Capital Markets
• Art DeMuro, President of Venerable Properties
• Tiffany Sweitzer, President of Hoyt Street Properties

The panelists will examine some of the innovative private-public partnerships that have helped fund some of the region’s signature projects, including the MAX light rail system and Portland Streetcar.
