Bachman Elected Chairman of Japan-America Society of Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. Craig D. Bachman, shareholder at Lane Powell PC, has been elected Chairman of the Japan-America Society of Oregon (JASO).
Bachman has been a trial lawyer since 1978 representing clients in all phases of business and commercial litigation with emphasis in antitrust, trade regulation, securities, insurance practices, intellectual property and professional malpractice.
With almost 1,200 members (corporate and individual), JASO is the largest and oldest Japan-related organization in the State of Oregon. Founded in 1907 by leaders in the Japanese and American business community, JASO sponsors a variety of business, educational and cultural programs each month. In addition, it serves as an information center, providing advice on Japanese protocol, language and other general information related to Japan.
