Lindsay to Speak at AIA Event on Billing and Collections (Portland)

Lane Powell business and intellectual property attorney Shawn Lindsay will speak at “Taking it to the Bank: Billing and Collections,” an AIA Portland continuing education event for architects, on Tuesday, July 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Center for Architecture, 403 NW Eleventh Avenue, in Portland. Attendees will learn how to develop a consistently successful accounts receivables program, gets invoices paid on time, and maintain positive, long-term business relationships with clients. Specific topics will include: contractual provisions and statutory rights to ensure payment, liens and lien foreclosures.
