Liang Joins Lane Powell Tax Group

Jeffrey Liang has joined Lane Powell as a member of the Firm’s Tax Practice Group. Liang’s experience includes working for the IRS’s Office of Chief Counsel, where he challenged transactions involving tax shelters and Foreign Tax Credit generators, bad debt deductions and researched consolidated return regulations. Liang was also a law clerk at Keller Rohrback L.L.P., where he assisted with discovery for ERISA class action lawsuits against major publicly traded companies.

Liang earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, his J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law and his B.A., with honors, from the University of California at Davis.
