Lorne O. Dauenhauer Joins Lane Powell
Lorne O. Dauenhauer has joined the law firm of Lane Powell in the Portland office as an associate and will continue to concentrate his practice in the areas of employee benefits, ERISA and executive compensation. In 1999, Dauenhauer joined Lane Powell as a law clerk and ERISA consultant while also attending law school.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, Dauenhauer was a senior associate with Dougherty Petroff Associates, specializing in administration, design and actuarial consulting for qualified and nonqualified retirement plans. While there, he was the lead firm consultant for matters involving nondiscrimination analysis, government reporting requirements and other issues arising from plan conversions, corporate mergers and acquisitions and plan terminations.
Dauenhauer is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Western Pension and Benefits Conference and the Portland Actuarial Club, of which he is a past president. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, with a Certificate in Federal Tax Law and his B.S. in mathematics and computer science from Gonzaga University.
