Summer Clerkships

Since 1991, the Seattle office has actively participated in the Puget Sound Area Minority Clerkship Program (PSAMCP), which is designed to provide summer associate opportunities for minority first-year law students from the University of Washington and Seattle University Schools of Law. The PSAMCP is designed to identify those students whose background, academic and otherwise, predicts successful career performance, and to provide those students with the opportunity to work in a major law firm or corporate law department environment. Each year, Lane Powell hires one applicant from the PSAMCP to work as a summer associate in our Seattle office. Our attorneys team includes past participants in the program.

Our Portland office actively participates in the Minority Honors Summer Program. Lane Powell is an active member of the Seattle Area Legal Recruiting Administrators organization (SALRA).
