New Military Service Law Creates Obligations for Employers (Employee Benefits version)
On December 10, 2004, the Veterans Benefits Improvement Act (“VBIA”) was signed into law by the President. The VBIA amends the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (“USERRA”) and provides a number of enhanced benefits to members of the uniformed services.
