Kate Spelman will serve as moderator for a panel discussion titled “Copyright 2015 at a Gallop” at the American Bar Association’s 31st Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference from 10:15-11:45 a.m. on Friday, April 8. The panel will discuss some of the key and interesting copyright cases decided in 2015 and noteworthy cases so far in 2016. From addressing the latest split in circuits on what constitutes “fair use” for content users in media, entertainment and a range of other industries, to the latest Supreme Court cases, and other important decisions, the panel will help explain the various happenings and assist practitioners with connecting the dots to what matters for their clients.
