Areas of Practice
David Petteys is an associate and member of Lane Powell’s Tax Practice Group. He has more than 13 years of experience with state and local taxes, including sales and use tax, income tax, gross receipts tax, ad valorem property tax, real estate excise tax, leasehold excise tax and other business taxes. David regularly counsels clients on tax refunds, letter rulings and managing audits. He has handled tax controversy matters at all levels, from administrative appeals to trial and appellate court litigation.
David is Co-Chair of the Washington State Bar Association Taxation Section Legislative Committee and was previously Chair of the organization’s Continuing Legal Education Committee.
