Hutchison Receives Agricultural Cooperative Council of Oregon’s Hall of Fame Award
Lane Powell Counsel to the Firm Bill Hutchison was inducted into the Oregon Cooperative Hall of Fame by the Agricultural Cooperative Council of Oregon at the November 9 Northwest Regional Cooperative Institute annual meeting in Spokane, Washington. The Oregon Cooperative Hall of Fame honors individuals for their outstanding contributions to the successful building and operation of Oregon agricultural cooperatives. Hutchison is involved nationally in the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives and its Legal Tax and Accounting Committee. He is an active member of the Portland community and has long been a steward of Oregon’s farm and forest land. He previously served as Chair of Oregon’s Environmental Quality Commission and as a member of Oregon’s Board of Forestry.
Hutchison currently serves as Chair of the Oregon Community Foundation’s Oregon Parks Foundation Advisory Committee and is a current and founding Director of the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership. His law practice focuses on agricultural cooperative, real property, corporate and environmental law.
