Steve McCarthy focuses his practice on insurance law, including coverage issues and insured representation, products liability litigation, professional liability litigation and, maritime and aviation.
Professional Experience
Stephen entered private practice in 1986 and concentrated on representing insurers and their insureds particularly in the areas of automobile, construction, and first party insurance litigation. In 1988, he became a Deputy District Attorney for Santa Clara County and prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases. Since returning to private practice in 1990, his practice has concentrated on representing insurers in property claims made by their insureds, insurance coverage analysis, and civil litigation emphasizing products, professional liability, fire, construction, transportation matters, and commercial litigation.
