Area of Practice

Carin Marney focuses her practice on representing health care providers and long term care providers, including skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities, where she has handled cases involving allegations of malpractice, negligent hiring and supervision, neglect and abuse of vulnerable adults, wrongful death and personal injury, as well as regularly assisting clients in risk management.

She has represented a wide range of individuals and large companies in hundreds of diverse litigation matters, ranging from disciplinary hearings to major lawsuits involving catastrophic personal injury or death.  She routinely defends companies faced with civil lawsuits in a variety of tort claims involving personal injury, allegations of intentional or unintentional abuse, sexual abuse and rape, fraud and misrepresentation, and a wide range of other alleged professional malpractice.

Carin also represents businesses and other professionals in complex litigation involving commercial, professional malpractice (such as attorneys, accountants and counselors) and personal injury.  She has represented large manufacturers in product liability cases, including the defense of medical devices such as orthopedic implants, prescription and over the counter medications, and surgical equipment.
