Megan Smith is a member of Lane Powell’s Litigation Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice on a wide range of complex litigation matters. Megan has experience in commercial and personal injury matters involving landlord/tenant disputes, creditors’ rights, construction disputes, collection matters and products liability litigation. She has specialized training in arbitration, mediation and negotiation, and has successfully represented clients in arbitration of contract and negligence issues.

• Lycksell v. William Nielsen and Kelley L. Nielsen dba Northwest Boat Center – Obtained arbitration award absolving Defendants of all liability in lawsuit alleging breach of contract and negligence.
• Tetra Tech v. Oregon International Motor Speedway, LLC – Assisted in obtaining favorable summary judgment ruling, resulting in decision against opposing party in excess of $350,000.
• Assists clients in various commercial landlord/tenant disputes and commercial FED proceedings.
