Areas of Practice
Carolyn Vogt has over 20 years of experience representing clients in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, entity formation and structure, and commercial contracts. Carolyn has worked with a range of clients, including manufacturers, retailers and energy project developers. Her areas of industry expertise include renewable energy, clean technology and New Markets Tax Credits. She has worked with renewable energy companies in the negotiation of long-term power purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, credit support arrangements and construction agreements. While serving as General Counsel for NACCO Materials Handling Group, Carolyn gained an appreciation of the delivery of legal services from a client’s point of view.
Carolyn Chairs Lane Powell’s Renewable Energy Industry Team and Co-chairs the Firm’s Sustainability and Climate Change team.
