Lane Powell and Attorneys Bodine, Davis, Dawson and Minsk Named as ‘Top’ in the 2015 IAM Patent 1000
The 2015 IAM Patent 1000 recently recognized Lane Powell as one of the top patent law firms in Oregon and Washington, as well as naming Lane Powell Attorneys Brian G. Bodine, Julianne R. Davis, John R. Dawson and Alan D. Minsk as top individuals in the practice.
The publication stated that Lane Powell has “a sophisticated understanding of the contribution that patents can make to the success of a business,” and that the Firm provides “down-to-earth, pragmatic advice and a blend of technical, legal and commercial nous.” Additionally, IAM Patent 1000 noted that Lane Powell’s “commercially relevant advice, whether on procurement or enforcement, makes it a popular choice among technology enterprises seeking to forge ahead in their markets.”
Bodine and Minsk were recognized by IAM Patent 1000 in Washington, and the publication described Bodine as “one of the Firm’s top litigators,” who is “regularly engaged on matters whose outcomes have industry-wide ramifications.” Minsk was noted for his “thriving counseling and patent procurement practice,” and that “his appreciation of patents as commercial, not just legal assets has broad appeal.”
IAM Patent 1000 recognized Davis and Dawson in Oregon, and stated that “the pair dispenses judicious advice to a leading tool company and many other commercial heavyweights besides.” The publication also commented that “Davis’s in-house counsel past makes her a trusted adviser to the C-suite,” and that “Dawson’s past engineering experience gives him instant credibility among inventors.”
