Oregon Electricity Restructuring

Beginning March 1, 2002, most Oregon businesses, including commercial property owners, for the first time will have electricity supply and rate plan choices. These changes are sometimes referred to as a restructuring or limited deregulation of electricity supply. They will give Oregon business customers of Pacific Power and PGE the ability to choose market-based rates or to purchase power from a third party supplier. View full article (PDF).
