Areas of Practice
Magdalena Bragun’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, receivership law, preference litigation and creditors’ rights. She has represented secured and unsecured creditors, receivers, official committees, plan administrators and multinational entities in a wide range of industries. Magdalena regularly appears as counsel in bankruptcies, adversary proceedings and state court receivership actions.
Magdalena graduated summa cum laude from Seattle University, where she also received five CALI awards for receiving the highest notes in class. Magdalena clerked for Honorable Richard Tallman at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and published a law review article advocating for a change of regulations that impose broad employment restrictions on H-4 visa holders. Prior to becoming an attorney in the U.S., Magdalena studied law in Poland, her native country.
