Six Attorneys Nominated for Fellowship to the Litigation Counsel of America

Lane Powell attorneys Robin Dale, Barb Duffy, Tanya Durkee, Mary Jo Heston, Leah Lively and Gwendolyn Payton were recently invited to become a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America (“LCA”). The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society that includes for Fellowship less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Their principle mission is diversity within the profession. Inclusion is by invitation only and fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels and ethical reputation. Fellows are asked to sit on the Blue Ribbon Panel that will select the LCA’s “Highest Tier Awards” for outstanding practices in no less than 35 areas of litigation for 2009 (e.g., Pharmaceutical Product Liability, Lender Liability, Medical Malpractice Defense, etc.).
