Tober to Speak at Tech and Software Companies in China Seminar/Webinar

Gary Tober, Shareholder and Chair of the Lane Powell Tax Practice Group, will be featured on day one of a live, two-day Web Cast, “Opportunities for Technology & Software Companies in China: A Detailed Toolkit.” The webcast targets technology and software industries that want to create and boost business in China via research, outsourcing, partnering or merging with an international company.

Tober will lead the session on Tax Issues and Strategies, discussing the impact of China’s New Enterprise Income Tax Law on foreign investment, supply chain tax issues and repatriation of China-based earnings. He will speak at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2008.

The seminar itself will be taking place in Bellevue, Wash., capitalizing on the Pacific Northwest’s ideal location for Asian Pacific Rim business opportunities.
